Missingno

When you see Missingno, he can mess up the League part of your game if you haven't went through the League. Go to Viridian City and talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch Pokemon. Say "no". Fly to Cinnabar Island or the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down on the east (right) side where it is half land & half water. You will encounter him. Don't catch him. He'll mess up your graphics and pokemon League and the whole game.

Catch Pokemon over L100
To catch Pokemon over L.100, go to Viridian City and talk to the guy who teaches you how to catch Pokemon. Say "no". Fly to Cinnabar Island or the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down on the east (right) side where it is half land & half water. You will find Pokemon over L.100. After you battled and defeated Missingno. You can use rare candies on them up to level 255. If you give them any more, they go down to level 0.

Get a lot of an item
Put the item you want a lot of in the sixth spot in your Items. Then, do the Missingno cheat,(done above) but don't catch it. Instead, run away from it. Look at your sixth item. There should be a strange symbol and a 9. It's usually over 100. You can use this code to get many Masterball or Rare Candies.

Make a Pokéball act as a Masterball
Throw any kind of ball and hold Up and B. It will act like a Masterball. If you do it right, you should have no problem catching it. It takes a few tries to get it right, though.

Catch Safari Pokemon on Cinnabar Island
The right side of Cinnabar Island has the same Pokemon as the last place you walked in always. Walk around in the area in the Safari Zone where the Pokemon you want is at. When your time runs out,(don't just stop and stand at the Safari Zone time will never run out) go to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the right side (half land and half water). You will run into that Pokemon after about three or four times of surfing up and down.

Duplicate Pokemon
This requires two Gameboys and two Pokemon games. Put the Pokemon you want to duplicate into one of the games. Have a Pokemon in the other game that you want to be erased. Trade those POKéMON. After the Waiting sign is gone and before the Trade Completed! When the sign appears, turn the game (with the Pokemon to be duplicated) off. There should now be two of that Pokemon, one in each game. There is a risk of erasing your game. You can keep doing this code until you have many pokemon.

Hidden Computer
If you go to the hotel at the very bottom of Celadon City, there is a hidden computer. When you enter, go up two spaces and go all the way to the right. Go up one space and press the A button. You will have access to a hidden computer. You can use it just like an computer at the pokecenter.
